GONSO: Men’s fashion in plus sizes

The family-owned company GONSO was founded in Germany's Swabian Jura region in 1926, and began building its reputation as an apparel producer. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, GONSO started earning Kudos for its first functional clothing lines: underwear, cross-country ski wear and track suits. The company continued to grow, first in the German market then Europe wide and now in the U.S. GONSO is a big name in international cycling.

The brand was purchased by Maier Sports GmbH & Co. KG in 2004, and is now an integral part of the Maier group. GONSO has since then had a strong influence on cycling and mountain biking, thanks to its technical and trend innovations.
